Package 1 

This is a 3 hour course which includes the following:

  • Legal requirements checked: Driving Licence and Eyesight
  • Vehicle checks and legal requirements
  • Short introductory presentation discussing skills based driving, touching briefly on eco driving and hazard perception, with an overview of risk management and driver responsibilities.
  • 1 hour on road assessment including debrief and feedback
  • 1 hour on road remedial training and coaching with a driver trainer
  • Final report, feedback and certification for all candidates where the candidate has met the required standard

Package 2

This is a 4 hour course which includes the following:

  • Legal requirements checked: Driving Licence and Eyesight
  • Vehicle checks and legal requirements
  • More in-depth PowerPoint presentation lasting approximately 45 minutes highlighting skills based driving, with particular emphasis on eco driving, hazard perception, risk management and driver responsibilities
  • 1 hour on road assessment including debrief and feedback
  • 2 hours minimum on road remedial training and coaching incorporating the topics discussed during the presentation
  • Final report, feedback and certification (details as above on package 1)

Package 3

This is a 4 hour course which includes the following:

  • Legal requirements checked: Driving Licence and Eyesight
  • Online driving licence verification check (with regular updates)
  • Vehicle checks and legal requirements
  • Theory test prior to session to establish training needs
  • 1 hour on road assessment including debrief and feedback
  • 2 hours minimum on road remedial training and coaching including eco driving, hazard perception, risk management and driver responsibilities
  • Final report, feedback and certification (details as above on package 1)
  • Online modules tailored to driver depending on risks identified during session – these can be taken after the session

Additional B+E Trailer Training

This is a 4 hour course as initial training for those who have never towed, or as a refresher:

  • Reversing exercises
  • Coupling/uncoupling
  • Vehicle safety procedures
  • Final report, feedback and certification as appropriate.
