This distance learning course leads to a recognised qualification
This course will lead to the following learning outcomes:
- Recognising common signs of abuse, neglect and exploitation in adults, young people and vulnerable people.
- Learning how some people may be vulnerable to abuse, neglect and exploitation.
- Understand legislation relating to abuse, neglect and exploitation.
- How to record and report suspected or alleged abuse/neglect appropriately.
This course has been specially designed for those who would like to complete it without the need for travelling or face to face contact. The course is made up of a combination of self study and webinars with all distance learning study materials included. You will be guided by your qualified course tutor.
The course will be delivered over a timeframe of approximately 3 weeks. During this time, you will spend approximately 8 hours working towards the completion of this course.

Amending or cancelling your Safeguarding Course
You can amend or cancel your Safeguarding Course once it has been booked. Please call us on 0330 111 7230 or email firstname.lastname@example.org to do this. Please ensure you give enough notice to amend or cancel – you must give at least 4 clear working days notice so that you don’t lose your fee (working days = Monday to Friday, not including bank holidays. 4 clear working days, does not include the day you inform us you would like to cancel or the date of the Safeguarding Course).
