Level 3 Award in Education and Training
Level 3 Award in Education & Training
If you are looking for an entry level teaching qualification, or to expand your teaching skills further, this qualification will develop your skills to allow you to access other employment opportunities. This qualification used to be known as PTLLS – you may have heard of this in the past
Will these additional teaching qualifications help me as an ADI?
Many ADIs are successfully offering training within a classroom environment in addition to training they provide in car. Some work as classroom tutors providing speed awareness courses, or other similar driver awareness courses, where people are given the option to attend following prosecution for a driving offence. Others provide theory training within schools, giving people access to driver training from a younger age.
Is it difficult to achieve the qualification?
Like any qualification, it takes some effort and the development of new and existing skills to achieve. There are many similarities between the role of a classroom trainer and an ADI – making it easier to take on these new skills. You will be guided through the process by your tutor and all the guidance you need will be available.
Is the qualification nationally recognised?
Yes – it is nationally recognised and we have approval to offer this through the awarding body, Highfield Qualifications.
